How to use the random name picker
- Paste or type names, one per line (or separated by commas).
- Choose how many names to pick.
- Tap Pick. Turn on Remove picked names to make sure nobody is picked twice across several draws.
Fair for giveaways
flipj uses your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), the same source browsers use for encryption keys. We also avoid "modulo bias", a subtle flaw where some results come up slightly more often than others. Every result is generated on your device, so nothing you enter is sent to us.
When you pick more than one name, flipj draws without replacement, so the same name can't win twice in one draw. Duplicate lines count as separate entries, which is useful if someone earned extra entries.
Running a giveaway
- Export or copy the list of entrants, one per line.
- Remove anyone who broke the rules before you draw.
- Record your screen while you pick, so entrants can see the draw was fair.
- Pick a couple of reserve winners in case someone doesn't reply.

Yes. Choose how many names to pick and they're drawn at once, with no repeats.
Does it save my list?
Your list is saved in your own browser only, so it's there when you come back. It's never sent to us.
